Corner Brook Regional High defending boys and girls 4A volleyball titles this weekend

Corner Brook Regional High is looking to defend its titles in both the 4A boys and girls Super Volley Provincials this week.

The volleyball tournament is being held across multiple venues in Gander and Glenwood from Friday to Sunday.

The Corner Brook girls’ team will be competing against teams from Clarenville, Grand Falls-Windsor, Gander, St. John’s Conception Bay South, Torbay and Foxtrap.

The boys’ team will face squads from Bay Roberts, Clarenville, Grand Falls-Winsor, Gander, St. John’s, Conception Bay South and Mount Pearl.

Other squads from the west coast will participate in other divisions.

Jakeman All-Grade  from Trout River and Grandy’s River Academy from Burnt Island are participating in the 1A girls division, St. James All Grade of Lark Harbour in 2A girls and St. James Regional High of Port aux Basques in 3A girls.

In the Boys 1A, Grandy’s River Academy Bonne Bay Academy of Woody Point and Hampden Academy are among the teams competing. Belanger Academy of Doyles is competing in the 2A boys category, while Pasadena Academy contends for the 3A boys title.
