Deer Lake Dolphins Swim Team member Anna Cormier of Pasadena was in the pool at the Hodder Memorial Recreation Complex in Deer Lake on Wednesday for swimming practice with her teammates.
Over the past weekend, Anna, and nine other Dolphins swimmers participated in the Mount Pearl Swim or Sink Meet against swimmers from all across the province. The Dolphins had a very good showing, with all 10 swimmers swimming some of their best swims.
The top swimmer for the Dolphins was Cormier. She swam in five different events and made the finals in three. To top that accomplishment, she also swam personal best times in each of those finals.
