Corner Brook holding soccer summit in city Saturday

Every parent of a child registered in the Corner Brook minor soccer program has their own take on what they feel should be the direction the organization takes in player development.

No matter what they feel about a certain aspect of how things is going or not going they can have their say in what happens.

It’s up to them to decide if they want to engage in discussions moving forward or just let others decide the route taken and stay in the background.

The local minor soccer association hopes to hear from soccer parents and are encouraging them to have to their say.

They can become involved in the future development of the Corner Brook minor soccer program by participating in a Soccer Summit planned for Saturday 9 a. m. to 4 p.m. at the Corner Brook Civic Centre’s Studio.

The summit will be an opportunity to spend the better part of a day sharing ideas and working towards a plan that allows for continued growth and development in all divisions of soccer in the city, from the youngsters in the minor system to the competitive athletes who suit up for provincial teams or the provincial Challenge Cup men’s soccer league.

Anybody interested in playing a role in soccer development within the Corner Brook Minor Soccer Association can email for more information.
