The event will be held July 26-31 at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.
There may be more yet to come, as she is just 1.8 seconds away from qualifying for the 400-m freestyle and 4.7 seconds from qualifying for the 200-m freestyle and, according to a press release issued by the club, her goal is to qualify for one or both of these swims at her next two swim meets in the coming weeks.
Nelson will also be leaving the country to compete with the 2017 Team NL Canada Summer Games team on June 22-25 in Plantation, Fla. at the Florida International Invitational. Following this, she will be off to the Ken Dunn Nova Scotia long course championship from July 6-9 in Halifax.
