No. 1 ranked Holy Heart of Mary lived up to its billing at the Hall of Fame Cup (Eight Eight) championship on Sunday in St. John’s, as they claimed the title by beating No. 2 ranked Gonzaga 89-41

The Corner Brook Regional High Titans were the No. 7 ranked team on the boys side, and the team went 1-2 overall.

They started their tournament on Friday with an 80-70 loss to Gonzaga, before falling 110-82 to Holy Heart on Saturday.

Their lone win came on Saturday night, an 80-76 triumph over Mobile.

No west coast teams qualified on the women’s side, which was won by Waterford Valley High following a 74-68 win over O’Donel on Sunday.
