LaSalle’s Kylie Masse added a bronze medal to her collection from the FINA World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, Korea.

Masse set a Canadian record with her time of 2:06.62 Saturday in the women’s 200-metre backstroke that left her third behind American Regan Smith (2:03.69) and Australian Kaylee McKeown (2:06.26)

Earlier at the championships, Masse successfully defended her world title in the 100-metre backstroke.

With four career medals to her name, Masse has tied Penny Oleksiak as the most decorated Canadian female swimmer at the World Championships.
