The registered nurse from Corner Brook won the female title in the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon in Halifax Sunday in a time of three hours and eight minutes. That personal best time put her 11th overall in the race, which featured 276 finishers, 99 of them female and 30 of them in Decker’s 30-39 age group.

It is only the third full marathon Decker has run. She was first in the 2014 Humber Valley event in Corner Brook and also completed last year’s Boston Marathon.
