Rebecca Bennett finished 46th overall in the pre-novice women category at the 2018 Skate Canada Challenge in Edmonton, but she was first among all Atlantic Canadian skaters in that grouping.

The Corner Brook skater put up a 24.89 score in her short program (45th overall), and a 44.22 in her free program (47th overall).
