Three promising golfers from the west coast capped off impressive seasons with Tely Junior Golf Tour titles.

Ryan McNeil Lamswood of the Harmon Seaside Links in Stephenville captured the junior boys title — the final crown of his Tely Tour career — with an eight-over par 79 at the Tour Championship Monday at Terra Nova Resort and Golf Community.

McNeil Lamswood also got some pretty good news off the golf course, receiving word that he had been named of one of 10 promising young golfers in Canada to receive a 2018 Curling Canada Foundation For the Love of Curling valued at $2,500.

The successful recipients will utilize the award to cover a portion of their education and curling costs during the 2018-19 school year.
