Justin Whittle won top honours in the Weekend Warrior division at the 2018 Impact Road Race Sunday in Pasadena.

Whittle, who lives in Little Rapids, posted a final clocking of two hours, 20 minutes and 59.8 seconds over the 80-kilometre course to claim top spot.

Sunday’s road race followed a 15.4-km time trial held on Saturday on Marble Drive in Steady Brook, with Massey Drive’s Kirby Hamlyn finishing first with a time of 21 minutes and 59.2 seconds.

Ian Coxon, a native of Gander, finished first in the Live on Your Bike division’s 80-km journey with a final clocking of 2:19:53.2, while Gander’s Keith Piercey nabbed top spot in the Get Out When You Can 64-km event with a final time of 1:58:52.1.

Kathleen Rafferty, one of only two riders in the Need Some Padding 40-km event, finished first after crossing the finish line in 1:28:36.0.
