West coast girls claim medals at provincial cross-country running race

It was a sweep for the west coast at the School Sports Newfoundland and Labrador Cross-Country Grade 6 race held recently at the Gander Golf Club. Medal winners included, from left, Jillian Andrews of J. J. Curling (bronze), Katie Colbourne of J. J. Curling (silver) and Faith Ledrew of St. Peter’s Academy in Benoit’s Cove (gold).
