Silver Blades teams earn medals at 2019 Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Synchronized provincial championships

CORNER BROOK, N.L. — Three local teams from the Silver Blades Skating Club earned medals at the 2019 Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Synchronized provincial championships at the Corner Brook Civic Centre over the weekend.

The Silver Sensations captured bronze in the juvenile team division. Members of the team are, from left, (front) Ella Taylor, Kaleigh Allen, Vanessa Bennett, and Jennifer Boland; assistant coach Danielle Sceviour, Sara Murphy, Taylor Gilbert, Grace Pye, Rebecca Kelly, Ally Taylor, assistant coach Rachel Whitten, and coach Lisa Young.
