Storm captures tip-off tournament title

The Corner Brook Intermediate Storm outlasted the Pasadena Academy Falcons 47-42 to win the 2018 CBI Grade 8 Boys Tip-off Saturday night.

In a close contest, it was Josh Major scoring six of his eight points to help the Storm take the lead in the third period.  While teammates Corbin Nelson and Brayden Sparkes scored a team-high 11 points each, and David Penney dropped in eight points for the victor.

For the Falcons, Connor King had a game-high 15 points, while teammate Ethan King dropped in eight.

Major was named playing of the game for the Storm, while King earned the honour for the Falcons.
