The West Side Monarchs captured the 2018 Corner Brook Men’s Soccer League’s Kick-Off Cup preseason championship with a 4-0 win over Grand Bank on Sunday.
Dave Roberts scored twice for the victors, with Steve Hobbs and Patrick Fewer also finding the back of the net. Mark Woodman, who also earned the Brandon Pike Memorial Award for top goalkeeper, kept the clean sheet for the Monarchs.
