Offence was no issue for the Western Kings over the weekend.

The Kings hung two nine-spots on the Central IcePak in a pair of provincial major midget hockey league wins at the Corner Brook Civic Centre.

On Sunday, the Kings had nine different goalscorers and 14 players with at least a point in a 9-1 victory.

Andrew Antle, Adrian Ward, Jacob Oake, Kris Thomas, Kyle Robinson, Jonathan Anderson, Lucas Robinson, Brayden Ryan and Malcolm Genge lit the lamp for the Kings.

Phillip Pardy was the lone marksman in the loss.

Kirklin Young earned the win in net over Jack Cameron.

On Saturday night, Thomas scored four times as the Kings plowed over the IcePak by a 9-0 score.

Ryan and Drew Cornick both scored twice in the win, with Anderson picking up the other goal.

Lucas Park registered the shutout victory, with Will Brown taking the loss.

The Kings will be off this coming weekend, before tangling with the IcePak again in two weeks for the last games before the Christmas break.
