The Western Kings came up empty-handed when it comes to wins at the 2018 Monctonian Challenge midget hockey tournament in Moncton, N.B. over the weekend.
The Kings opened the tournament Thursday with a 2-1 loss to the Saint John Vitos.
Drew Langdon provided the lone goal for Western, with Isaac Dixon and Adam Bowness lighting the lamp for the victors.
Lucas Wiseman suffered the defeat in goal, with Jeremi Delaquis earning the win.
In their second outing, on Friday, the Kings were edged 4-3 by the Central Ontario Wolves.
Boyd Stahlbaum (2), Carson Whitson and Riley Silliphant registered the offence in the winning cause.
Isaiah Caines, Brett Urquhart, and Mason Campbell did the damage for the Kings.
William Craig earned the goaltending decision over Lucas Park.
The Kings closed out their weekend with a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Halifax Macs.
Mitchell Comeau, Daniel Kline, Stephen Purdy and Ian Watt got on the board for the Macs.
Lucas Robinson was the lone marksman for the Kings.
Jacob Goobie earned the win in goal over Lucas Wiseman.
