CORNER BROOK: Incoming cold front will clear the air

There’s been very little movement in the upper levels of the atmosphere thanks in part to a blocking Bermuda High. That high will slowly sink southward over the next 48 hours, allowing a cold front to drop down across the region. Showers and thundershowers will clear the air. As for the weekend, a large high pressure system will set up shop over Labrador. There’s lots of sun in store close to the high; a mix of sun and cloud with spotty showers possible as you move away from the fair weather system.
