CORNER BROOK: Colder than normal continues!

Another Arctic high-pressure system over Quebec is snuggling in and will serve up a few cold days across the region. The northwest wind off the top of the high will make it feel even colder with wind chill values ranging from -7 to -14. Behind the low, the cold north will kick up once again with some onshore snow along north-west facing coastlines. Thanks to that pocket of cold air, another sprawling storm will be held offshore…sliding south of Sable Island then south of the Avalon Wednesday. We can expect moderating temperatures towards the end of the week as clouds roll in ahead of the next system. It looks like we’re in for another 5-10 cm of snow on Saturday. Meanwhile, the bitter cold continues across Labrador with a much anticipated warm up come the weekend!
