CORNER BROOK: From Texas to Corner Brook - It's a duesy

A powerful fall storm is approaching western Labrador, but it‘s serving up rain and wind along a 4000 km line that stretches from central Texas to western Newfoundland. While the wind and rain will soon subside over the Maritime Provinces, it’s going to a wild afternoon across the Island; wind and rain warnings will remain in place into the evening. It’s a different season in Labrador where snow will taper off to flurries this afternoon. The wind chill there is -16. Colder air will funnel down behind the system late tonight and through the day tomorrow. Snowfall totals will be in the 5 to 10 cm range by the end of the day.
