A spring storm that tracked up the eastern seaboard is now headed for the Northern Peninsula. The mild but gusty south wind on the warm side of system will slowly come around to the west Saturday night; that will cool things down and bring a mix of showers and flurries overnight. That wind direction change is compliments of the first of two cold fronts. Between the fronts, we’ll be treated to a fair but breezy Sunday. The second front is much more active. I expect anywhere from 5 to 7 cm of snow as the wind comes around to the NW late Monday. Behind the front, feel-like temperatures will range from -10 to -15 for the Island but dip to -35 by Monday morning in Labrador City.
