CORNER BROOK: Toques to umbrellas

The icy northwest wind is starting to come around to the southwest putting an end to the mini cold snap, at least temporarily. An approaching system will bring wet snow that will quickly change to showers as temperatures rise overnight and tomorrow from west to east. We won’t spend much time in the wedge of warmer air between the fronts. The trailing cold front will barrel across the region Friday night to Saturday morning opening up the arctic pipeline yet again! Sunday will be fair and not quite as cold. For those who think it’s too early for this, you’ll be happy to hear that while next week will be quite cloudy with showers, we can expect seasonal temperatures: 4 to 7 degrees during the day and near 0 at night.
