First Nations protesters disrupt Easter service

First Nations protesters demonstrated outside Vancouver's Holy Rosary Cathedral during Easter mass today, demanding the Roman Catholic church get off native land.

Friends and Relatives of the Disappeared spokesman Kevin Annett called on the church to identify where children who died in residential schools are buried. Police stood on the cathedral's steps during the protest.

VANCOUVER - First Nations protesters demonstrated outside Vancouver's Holy Rosary Cathedral during Easter mass today, demanding the Roman Catholic church get off native land.

Annett says a church lawyer has indicated a willingness to negotiate with the group.
