There is some spring weather happening out there today.
With a temperature currently at 11 C, Corner Brook has already surpassed Environment Canada’s forecasted high of 9 C.
There is some drizzle expected throughout the day along with some fog patches and a southwest wind with gusts between 30 and 50 kilometres per hour.
Those conditions will continue into the night with the temperature staying steady near 8 C.
On Wednesday the drizzle will change to rain showers with flurries in the afternoon. Things will clear by the evening. Temperature should remain around 8 C for the day.
Environment Canada is forecasting much the same for the Port aux Basques area for the day with a high of 5 C.
Wednesday will see periods of drizzle and showers with wind in the morning gusting to 60 km/h and increasing to 80 km/h near noon before dropping back to between 30 and 50 km/h.
For the Stephenville area the Weather Network is calling for cloudy conditions with showers today with a high of 7 C.
And there’s more showers and some rain predicted for Wednesday. But the temperature should go up around 9 C.
Up around Rocky Harbour the temperature is expected to get up around 11 C today with cloudy conditions and showers.
Wednesday should see much of the same, but the temperature could go up even higher to 13 C.
