Alastair Gowans, an international master fly casting instructor from Pitlochry, Scotland will be at Dhoon Lodge in Black Duck Siding holding a fly casting school this weekend.

Alastair Gowans, an international master fly casting instructor from Pitlochry, Scotland, will be holding a fly casting school this weekend at Dhoon Lodge in Black Duck Siding.

He is being joined by Dennis Grant and wife Verlie Grant, International Federation of Fly Fishers casting instructors and David Hartlin, a nationally certified professional guide and Simms and Sage pro guide member.

While there is a meet and greet on Friday evening, the actual fly casting instruction course starts on Saturday morning with Gowans and the Grants. Gowans will be joined by Hartlin Saturday evening for fly tying demonstrations. Sunday courses will also take place in both disciplines.
