It looks like Canada Day will be a hot one.
Environment Canada is forecasting a high of 28 C in Corner Brook for July 1.
Conditions will be a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon, so get out early and enjoy the day. And don’t forget your sunscreen.
Wednesday will see another good day with a high of 26. Thursday’s temperature will be around 27 C and there’s a 40 per cent chance of showers.
Deer Lake will see much the same conditions for the next few days, with temperatures climbing slightly higher — 30 C on Wednesday and 29 C on Thursday with no showers.
Port aux Basques will also see a nice Canada Day with some sun and cloud, but it’ll be a little cooler on the southwest coast with a temperature of 16 C.
For Stephenville The Weather Network is showing a sunny Canada Day with a temperature of 20 C. Conditions will remain the same on Wednesday, but the temperature should climb a bit to 23 C.
For the Rocky Harbour area, July 1 will be a hot one at 24 C, but there’ll be some showers. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with a high of 25 C.
