A preliminary inquiry into the case of a young Corner Brook man charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm will resume in provincial court in Corner Brook today.

The first day of the expected three-day hearing for Mark Thompson, 20, took place on Monday.

Thompson and a female passenger were injured in the crash.

Besides the impaired driving charge, Thompson is also facing charges of impaired operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm by exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm.
