A resident of The Town of Meadows is curious as to why the Town would be using two clerks’ names when putting an ad in the local paper,

“I know they are going through a transition at the office, but I think one clerk’s name is sufficient,” said the resident. “Using both names makes the town look flourishing financially.”

The road in Murphy Square is in bad shape and always has been, says one city resident.

“With all the money from the stores up there, why does this go on? I think it’s time it was fixed permanently. If that was a poor man’s (road), they’d have him strung up.”

A local man wanted to voice some concerns about the Sir Richard Squires Memorial Park.

“I was driving on Big Falls Road and people were stopped wondering how to go there because it’s like a woods road,” he said.

“I think it’s a disgrace. All the while we’ve had this park, this beautiful park, and we have to go through this. It should be an election issue.”

He also questioned the policy regarding camping in the area.

“There are about 20 campers near Little Falls bridge that don’t move,” he said.

“I’m  wondering if the government changed their minds on leaving them there.”
