A resident of The Town of Meadows is curious as to why the Town would be using two clerksâ names when putting an ad in the local paper,
âI know they are going through a transition at the office, but I think one clerkâs name is sufficient,ââsaid the resident. âUsing both names makes the town look flourishing financially.â
The road in Murphy Square is in bad shape and always has been, says one city resident.
âWith all the money from the stores up there, why does this go on? Iâthink itâs time it was fixed permanently. If that was a poor manâs (road), theyâd have him strung up.â
Aâlocal man wanted to voice some concerns about the Sir Richard Squires Memorial Park.
âIâwas driving on BigâFalls Road and people were stopped wondering how to go there because itâs like a woods road,ââhe said.
âIâthink itâs a disgrace. All the while weâve had this park, this beautiful park, and we have to go through this. It should be an election issue.â
He also questioned the policy regarding camping in the area.
âThere are about 20 campers near Little Falls bridge that donât move,ââhe said.
âIâm wondering if the government changed their minds on leaving them there.â
