CORNER BROOK  Mitch Goodyear left tire treads on NAPA/Merry’s/Meineke in Corner Brook Molson Men’s Recreational Hockey League action on Tuesday night.

The Mooseracks player recorded four goals to power his team to the 7-4 victory at the Kinsmen Arena II.

Chad Wilton, Matt Chase and Stu McNeil also struck for the victors.

Paul Foley and Ryan McMackin both scored two goals in the losing cause.

Jeff Carey was between the pipes for the winning side, with Glen Porter taking the loss.

In other action, Darren Harvieux and Steve Bugden both produced a pair as Western Mazda defeated Health and Performance Physio 5-3.

Blair Rumbolt accounted for his team’s other goal in the triumph.

Ashley Buckle, Jamie White and Adam Tilley responded for the physio crew.

Chris Grant was the winning goalie over Rob Roberts.

Elsewhere, Marble Zip Tours defeated West 96 by a 5-1 decision.

Jamie O’Connell scored twice in the win, with Jamie Vatcher, Jamie Brake and Brian White added single markers.

Kirby Gillingham provided the lone goal for the 96ers.
