An eight-goal outburst in the first period helped Harvey Gale & Son to an 11-6 triumph over Skinner’s Pharmacy on Tuesday in action from the Bay St. George Ball Hockey League at the Siki Bennett Memorial Stadium.

Gordo Scott netted a hat trick in the victory, with Chris Dohaney (2), Tyler Cornect (2), Brent White (2), Simon Sheppard and Daniel Alexander providing the rest of the offence.

Dennis Critchley (2), Nelson White (2), Paul Gabriel and Mark Skinner responded in the losing cause.

Hunter Woodfine outdueled Steven Hancock between the pipes.

In other action Tuesday night, Freddy Cutler scored the shootout winner as Central Service Station edged Clancy’s Pub 10-9.

Cutler added two goals in regulation, as did Chris Rose and Sheldon McIsaac. Mitchell Gallant, MacKenzie Noseworthy and Matt Crawford each scored once.

The pub club’s loss spoiled a five-goal performance from Brandon Nicholas. Brandon O’Neil (2) and Isaac Young (2) also lit the lamp for the losing side.

P.J. White earned the goaltending win over Ryan Saunders.
