Rochelle Jesso, a first year Community Studies student at College of the North Atlantic’s Bay St. George Campus, listens in to remarks at a Vigil in Stephenville making a National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, recognizing the 27th Anniversary of the Montreal Massacre. She was one of 14 Community Studies student who held a candle and a rose in memory of the 14 women killed by a lone gunman at l’Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal back on Dec. 6, 1989.
