The cultures that make up the Grenfell Campus community will be celebrated through discussion, performance and cuisine as the university marks Multiculturalism Week next week.
“Each year during Multiculturalism Week, we try to focus on the diversity of the student population here on campus,” said Patrick Arsenault, student programming co-ordinator (international) at the Corner Brook university.
“Through our public activities, students, faculty and staff will highlight a little piece of their own culture and help to educate locals about places that they may have only heard of before.”
Arsenault said the week will also provide an opportunity for international students to learn about the culture of Newfoundlanders and Canadians.
