GRAND BANK, N.L. — A 32-year-old male now residing in Corner Brook made an appearance in Supreme Court in Grand Bank on Thursday, June 21.

The accused, who cannot be named due to a publication ban to protect the identity of the victim(s), appeared by video link from a conference room at the courthouse in Corner Brook.

During his appearance, the accused pled not guilty to charges of possession of child pornography.

The charges date back to December of 2016, during which time the accused made his home on the Burin Peninsula.

Justice Sandra Chaytor ordered a pre-trial conference for July 17.
