Four people have now been arrested in connection with a home invasion in Reidville last weekend. Tanner Thomas Healey, 23, and Ricky Leslie Halfyard, 29, both of Deer Lake, were arrested Monday as the result of an investigation into the incident alleged to have occurred on Sunday night were at provincial court in Corner Brook on Thursday morning.
Healey was denied bail following a hearing and will be back in court on Oct. 24. Halfyard was scheduled to have a bail hearing but consented to remand. He’ll be back in court on Oct. 23. Both men have been charged with breaking and entering with intent, using a firearm during the commission of an offence, being disguised with intent, use of a firearm in committing robbery and forcible confinement.
Healey is also facing two charges of pointing a firearm and Halfyard a charge of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Dylan Joseph Ryan, the third person arrested in the home invasion, made an appearance late Thursday afternoon on three charges of using a firearm in committing robbery, forcible confinement and being disguised with intent. A bail hearing for Ryan has been set for this morning. The Crown indicated during Ryan’s appearance that a fourth suspect has been arrested and will also appear in court today.
