Environment Canada has much of the province under a blizzard warning today and as a result we're seeing some closures and cancellations around the west coast.

Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland
Classes/labs beginning at 5 p.m. or after will be cancelled due to the forecasted storm. Non-academic programming is also cancelled, and Ferriss Hodgett Library will close at 5 p.m.
Burgeo Academy in Burgeo is closed for the afternoon.
Lourdes Elementary, Our Lady of the Cape School, Piccadilly Central High and St. Thomas Aquinas in the Port au Port area system closing at 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon.
St. Boniface All Grade in Ramea is closed for the afternoon.
St. Simon and St. Jude Academy in Francois is closed for the afternoon.
Grandy's River Collegiate in Burnt Island will close at noon for the afternoon.
Belanger Memorial School in the Codroy Valley will close at 11:05 a.m.
St. James All Grade in Lark Harbour will be closed for the afternoon with all students leaving the school at 11:45 a.m.
E.A. Butler All Grade in McKay's will be closed for the afternoon.
St. James Elementary and St. James Regional High in Port aux Basques will both close at 11 a.m.
Appalachia High School and Our Lady of Mercy Elementary in St. Georges will be closed for the afternoon.
St. Michael's Elementary in Stephenville Crossing will be closed for the afternoon.
The Pathfinder Learning Centre in Stephenville will be closed for the afternoon.
Stephenville Elementary, Stephenville High, Stephenville Middle School and Stephenville Primary in Stephenville will be closed for the afternoon.

College of the North Atlantic has close its campuses in Bay St. George and Port aux Basques.
As a resulted of the forecasted high winds and sea conditions, Marine Atlantic has cancelled its 11:45 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. crossing from Port aux Basques and North Sydney for today and Thursday.
Customers reserved for those sailings will no depart at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, weather permitting.
