Boil order

The residents of Irishtown-Summerside remain under a precautionary boil order after the carcass of a moose was removed from near the water supply last weekend.

Coun. Penney Warren said the report of the dead moose was investigated and the animal’s body was removed by wildlife officials.

Warren said no contaminants have shown up in the town’s drinking water, but residents are urged to boil water before use as a precaution until the order is lifted.
