Stephenville Theatre Festival gettting underway

“The Marvelous Wonderettes,” an Off-Broadway Musical featuring greatest best girl band hits from the 50’s and 60’s has its debut at the Stephenville Theatre Festival on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Stephenville Arts and Culture Centre bringing audience members back in time. The Stephenville Theatre Festival is getting underway on Friday with the satirical muscial comedy "Urinetown."

It will followed up on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. with "The Marvelous Wonderettes," an Off-Broadway musical featuring songs of the 50's and 60's from the greatest girl bands of the day.
The festival then swings into full time with shows that continue up the closing with "The Gala" on Aug. 13.
This season's shows are at the Stephenville Arts and Culture Centre, along with dinner theatre at Days Inn in Stephenville.
