The trial of Colin Wheeler wrapped up in the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador in Corner Brook on Wednesday with final summations.

Wheeler, who is representing himself on charges of assault, assault with a weapon, mischief and breaches of court orders, made his comments to Justice George Murphy in the morning. Crown attorney Lori St. Croix presented in the afternoon.

Murphy will render his decision on June 29.

Wheeler will appear via videoconference from Her Majesty’s Penitentiary for that appearance.
