Pennecon Energy has been awarded a substantial contract in which the company will utilize the Stephenville Industrial Facility (old paper shed) at Port Harmon.

Mayor Tom O’Brien of Stephenville said the fabrication that will be carried out at the facility is in relation to the Hebron Oil and Gas Project and it's anticipated to create in excess of 50 positions.

“This is great news for the Stephenville and the Bay St. George area,” he said.

According to the company’s website they are perfectly positioned to service the world’s oil and gas industry. They have an experienced team, an unmatched blend of skills and an established reputation for quality and are always prepared for the next project.

As Canada’s East Coast emerges as a leading producer of oil and gas, the company sees great opportunities for each of its divisions.
