Residents on the west side of Corner Brook advised to check their vehicles

At 5 a.m. Friday, police received a complaint of a male acting suspicious in the area of Mount Batten Road on the west side of Corner Brook.
A 26-year-old man was found in the area and had in his possession items believed to have been stolen from vehicles in the area.
The items were seized by police and secured as they attempt to locate the owners of the property.
The man was released pending further investigation.
