Four applications relating to the operation of businesses were approved by the Stephenville town council at their regular general meeting on Thursday.

David Fillatre was given outline planning permission to operate an automotive and heavy truck repair shop at 229 Carolina Ave., subject to approval of Service Newfoundland and Labrador and compliance with all town regulations.

Killick Café was approved a permit to use space in the building at 1 Main St. to accommodate a café, do minor interior renovations and erect two signs on the building, subject to approval of Service Newfoundland and Labrador and compliance with all town regulations.

PMW Construction Limited was given outline planning permission to construct a commercial building at 161-163 Main St., subject to the submission of detailed construction drawings and compliance with all town regulations.

HD Coatings Inc. was approved a permit to use space in the building at 459 Massachusetts Dr. to accommodate a spray truck liner business subject to approval of Service Newfoundland and Labrador and compliance with all town regulations.
