Western Regional Hospital Foundation Radiothon happening now in Corner Brook

The Corner Brook Plaza is a busy spot today as the Western Regional Hospital Foundation is broadcasting its annual radiothon on 570 VOCM from the shopping centre.

The foundation is hoping to raise $533,500 through the radiothon and will use the money to purchase equipment for Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
The radiothon is set up in the area outside Sears and will run until 7 p.m. this evening.
At 2 p.m. $169,855.49 had been raised.
