GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. – The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual involved in a recent attempted armed robbery at the Ultramar on Cromer Avenue in Grand Falls-Windsor. 

The masked suspect, who is believed to be female, brandished a knife during the incident.

Police have released three pictures taken from surveillance video of the incident, which took place on June 13 at around 10:45 p.m.

The masked suspect, who is believed to be female, brandished a knife and demanded cash, but left empty handed as the employee did not have access to the on-site cash.

Anyone who might be able to identify the suspect or were in the area and think they might have saw something suspicious related to this crime is asked to contact Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP at 709-489-2121 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.
