Members of the Bay St. George RCMP are investigating two separate weekend disturbances in Stephenville that resulted in arrests and charges.
A 27-year-old Stephenville is appearing in court today after being charged with mischief and failure to comply with probation orders.
His arrest resulted from a report on Saturday at about 10:15 p.m. of a disturbance at an apartment building on Oregon Drive.
Then on Sunday at about 1:20 a.m. Bay St. George RCMP received a report of a disturbance at the Days Inn in Stephenville.
When they attended, a 44-year-old man from Anchor Point was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace.
He was held overnight and released with a promise to appear in court at a later date.
