The trailer, which is valued at about $7,500, was stolen from the parking lot of Vantage Motors between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. Friday, based on a security video that shows it being towed away by what appears to be a black van.

“It was just a petty theft, we believe,” Trivett said, of the trailer, which is a 24-foot white, generic model.
