Thanksgiving Day in Canada has been a holiday on the second Monday of October since 1957. It is a chance for people to give thanks for a good harvest and other fortunes in the past year.

I’m thankful for being alive and being able to walk every day, meeting and talking to a few people and making lots of friends. Also my wife as she’s the love of my life.

I’m very thankful for family and friends and the freedom that our country gives us, especially when you compare it to many other countries in the world.
I’m thankful for being alive and for having the freedom that we have here in Canada. I’m also thankful for the food that we have available to us.

I’m thankful that I’m still alive and that everything is perfect in the area where I live and that I have family and friends to share my time with.
I’m thankful for friends and family, that we live in a great country with no terrorist attacks like in Paris, France and Las Vegas, USA and that we are safe and healthy.
I’m thankful for family and friends, my work as a cook and everything I’m able to do for other people including working on Thanksgiving and feeding others.
