Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital in his eighty ninth year, Raymond John Tiller of Dildo, formerly of Corner Brook and Pasadena. Predeceased by his first wife, Meredah; infant daughter; parents, Fred and Matilda Tiller; and sister, Jane. Left with many loving memories his wife, Mamie Moore Tiller; children, Diane Corrigan (Jim), Gloria Mercer (Derek), Eugene (Etta-Mae); step-children, Gloria Healey (John), and Kevin Moore (Gloria); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sheldon Corrigan (Linda), Paul and Steven Corrigan, Jason Mercer (Georgina), Cody (Courtney) and Kyle (Jessica), Jennifer Freill (Bryan), Teghan, Maryn, Rowyn, Fintan, Kim Webb (Brad), Megan and DJ, Michaela and Skylar, Karen Tiller, Darryl Tiller (Leslie), Katrina Healey (Brendon), Paul Healey (Krista), Stephen Moore, Andrew Moore (Angela), Gabriel, Sebastian, and Drea, Charlene (Jim), Hannah, Shanel, and Cohen; brothers and sisters in Corner Brook, Allister (Audrey), Stuart (Mildred), Blanche Rose (George), June Harding (Cecil), and youngest brother, Ellis (Joan, deceased) of Sudbury, Ontario; sisters-in-law, Pearl Harding (Allan), Alma Pittman, and Gladys Spracklin; and he is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, especially his home care workers. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation Sunday, March 18, 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm Cremation to follow. Visitation will also be held at Humber Valley United Church in Pasadena on Thursday, March 22nd from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A service of celebration and thanksgiving for Ray's life will be held from Humber Valley United Church, Pasadena on Friday, March 23rd at 11:00 am. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the Humber Valley United Church in Pasadena or NL Down Syndrome Society.
