ST. GEORGE’S The Bay St. George Ball Hockey League will kick off its playoff round Tuesday night.
Top seed Central Service Station will tangle with fourth-place Skinner’s Pharmacy at 8 p.m. at the Siki Bennett Memorial Stadium in St. George’s, while the other playoff matchup will see second-place Clancy’s Pub take on third-place Harvey Gale & Son at 9 p.m. in St. George’s.
Playoff matchups came down to the final two games of the regular season Sunday night.
Harvey Gale & Son’s 11-8 win over Clancy’s Pub locked up third spot in the standings.
Chris Dohaney and Gordo Scott notched hat tricks for the winners, while Josh Walsh and Simon Shepard chipped in with two goals apiece. Tyler Cornect scored the other goal for the winning side.
Dylan Noseworthy scored four times for the pub crew, while Josh White had a two-goal game in a losing cause. Evan Bullen and Brandon O’Neil also scored for Clancy’s.
Meanwhile, Central Service Station wrapped up the regular campaign with 24 points after an 8-4 victory over Skinner’s Pharmacy Sunday night.
Matt Crawford, Freddy Cutler and Mike Hawco had two-goal performances for the winners.
MacKenzie Noseworthy and Clark White also scored for the top dogs in the regular season.
Nelson White notched a two-goal game for the pharmacy representatives, while single markers came compliments of Dennis Critchley and John Walsh.
