The team participated in the event’s Cheer Like Never Before contest against other local squads, eventually winning the chance to be in the running for the ultimate National Hockey League experience.

Now among 24 national finalists, the team is seeking votes for their cheer, called “Boom Chicka Boom.” The top prize includes a trip to Vancouver, B.C. to watch the Edmonton Oilers play the Vancouver Canucks on April 9, along with experiencing a Canucks game day skate, a meet and greet with players and alumni, a chance to perform the cheer in the Canucks dressing room, and a surprise equipment package from Bauer.

Voting opens on Monday, with the winning team announced on April 3. People can vote once per day, per device.
