Sporting only nine skaters and a goalie, the Saints gamely made the trek to Corner Brook anyway for a West Coast High School Hockey League tilt against the Corner Brook Regional High Titans at the civic centre on Monday night.

Unfortunately for the Saints, it didn’t go well, as they were dropped 16-0 by the home team.

Evan Gallant poured four goals into the Port aux Basques club’s net, while Nyc Papas recorded a hat trick. Brent Eason, Matthew Bonnell and Josh Sheppard scored two apiece, while Kyle Brown, Michael White and Kyle George added single markers.

Danny Walsh registered the shutout in goal for the Titans.
