The answer to that question will unfold over the next few weeks, but it starts with the first set of open tryouts being staged this weekend at the Stephenville Dome.

Coach Ken Mills will keep a keen eye on the action when hopefuls for the team hit the ice this weekend for two practices — tonight at 10 p.m. and Sunday at 9 p.m. — at the Stephenville Dome.

The Corner Brook Royals, with Darren Colbourne handling the coaching duties, will also begin the quest of building a team of local players when they hit the ice Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the Kinsmen Arena II.

The four-team league will feature a 12-game schedule during the month of March that will see all hands play a home-and-home series with the other centres, and a championship declared in a one-game winner-take-all final featuring the top two teams.
